March 19, 2010, Hubei Science and Technology Department (HSTD) held the identification of scientific and technological achievements of miniature CPT atomic clock project committed by Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics (WIPM, CAS).

First of all, the identification committee listened to the research summary report by Researcher Gu Sihong. Then the committee reviewed the material of project mission statement, user application identification, related technology and intellectual property information etc. Finally, a site visit was held.

The identification committee gave a high price of the reaching work by WIPM on miniature CPT atomic clock, considering that the prototype totally achieved the international topping level. The committee pointed that this achievement had important application value. It is suggested that more effort should be taken to this achievement in order to take it to be widely used.
